Ultimate Suite for Excel Terminal Server Users edition

Learn how to deploy and activate the Terminal Server Users edition of Ultimate Suite for Excel.

Installation

The Terminal Server Users edition supports interactive installation on terminal servers as well as silent deployment via GPO and SCCM. The edition should be installed for all users; it is a per-server deployment. You can run the interactive installation or deploy the add-in using GPO or SCCM.

Activation

Note. By default, Ultimate Suite is disabled for all users after installation.

To enable Ultimate Suite for the selected users, set the following values in the users' registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\Ablebits.Suite]
"LoadBehavior"=dword:00000003

To activate Ultimate Suite for the selected users, add the following string values to the users' registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Ablebits\Ultimate Suite for Microsoft Excel]
"ProductKey"="Your license key"
"RegistrationName"="Your registration name"

Uninstallation

Please remove the following keys from the users' registry after uninstallation the edition:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Excel\Options]
"OPENx"="\"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Ablebits\\Ultimate Suite for Microsoft Excel\\AblebitsSuiteForExcel.xlam\""
"OPENx"="/A \"AblebitsUDF\""

Note! The x indexes in the OPENx values may vary depending on the xla/xlam add-ins the current user has installed. However, the user can remove these xlam/udf add-ins interactively via the "File \ Options \ Add-ins" dialog box.

Known issue for Office 2013, 2010

In the Microsoft Office versions 2013 and 2010, the HKLM branches have the priority:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\AddIns\Ablebits.Suite]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Excel\AddIns\Ablebits.Suite]
"LoadBehavior"=2

For this reason, adding
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Excel\AddIns\Ablebits.Suite]
"LoadBehavior"=3 will not lead to the tool start.

To enable Ultimate Suite for all users, turn on the add-in manually in the Excel add-ins menu. In this case, [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Excel\AddIns\Ablebits.Suite]
"LoadBehavior"=3 will be added.

To add the tool for the selected users, delete both keys from HKLM.

Please provide clear instructions how to easy remove it from my Google Chrome, there is no way to normal uninstallation, don't know why? do you hide something? spy system? Answer send please to my email, I asked for it 3 times and no reaction! Customer support wake up!
