How to uninstall add-ons

Go to Extensions > Add-ons > Manage add-ons in the Google Sheets/Docs menu:
A special menu to manage your add-ons.
Find the add-on of interest in the list, click the icon with three dots at the upper-right corner of its image and choose Uninstall:
Delete add-on from your Sheets/Docs.
The next window will ask you to confirm the action:
Confirm if you want to remove the tool.
Do so by hitting Uninstall app and the add-on will disappear from the list of your tools:
The button changes one the add-on is removed.

Note. Uninstalled the add-on but can still see it in the menu or it's still automatically opening in some spreadsheets/documents? It's a known issue affecting all Google Workspace add-ons in shared documents. Try the solutions offered here.

I have uninstalled the PowerTools add-on (nothing wrong with it, just ended up not needing the functionality I thought I did), and it no longer shows up in my extensions, however it still opens every time I open Google Sheets. How can I make it go away?

Thank you for your message.

The issue you are describing appears in shared documents, which means that another user of the shared document installed the add-on for his/her account, and the add-on runs automatically because the corresponding option is enabled by that user. This is how Google Sheets work with shared documents.
The solution here is to identify the user of the shared document who installed the add-on for his/her account and ask this user to disable Auto-start by clicking the pin button at the bottom of the add-on pane.

Hi, I have tried to uninstall an add-on but the uninstall button is disabled. I have tried contacting the developer but they do not have contact information available.
